2nd Annual Activation Festival at The Ion

The Ion Districts hosts the free, 3-day Activation Festival—a series of free events designed to engage the community, showcase entrepreneurial talent, and celebrate the District’s expanding technology ecosystem. 

Each day of the Activation Festival will feature presentations and speakers focused on Houston's business and technical innovation, networking events, learning opportunities, social hours, and more. 

The festival wraps up with the Ion Block Party: Innovation on DisPlay on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 5pm to 8pm. There will be a number of entrepreneurial local businesses showing off their dynamic technology on the Ion Plaza, along with food trucks and a "battle of the bands" competition.
