Cowboy Bob at Alley Theatre

The Alley presents Cowboy Bob, a tale loosely based upon the prolific Texas bank robber Peggy Jo, inside the Hubbard Theatre. 

Peggy Jo’s a good daughter who always tips and plays by the rules, but when she dons a fake mustache, sunglasses, and ten-gallon hat, she becomes “Cowboy Bob”- the slickest bank robber Texas has ever known.

Co-authored by Galveston’s own Molly Beach Murphy and Inspired by actual events, this world-premiere musical boasts a genre-bending score that shifts from country to punk to folk and indie rock.
