Department of Wonder in Sugar Land

Take a break from this reality and visit the Department of Wonder, a mind-bending immersive fantasy experience that takes place in an enchanted forest, located inside Sugar Land Town Square. 
 

This immersive, family-friendly destination invites visitors of all ages to step into a world of enchantment with family and friends for a collaborative quest filled with mystery, puzzles and captivating tales.

Experiences for Every Age Group

There are multiple ways for explorers of all ages to discover the enchanting world that awaits at Department of Wonder.

• The Lamp Maker's Apprentice — The Department' of Wonder's signature experience sends guests on narrative journey through a whimsical world where apprentices venture forth with a light-gathering lantern, restoring the fading magic and brightness of the enchanted forest and its creatures.
• Make Believe — Designed for ages 2 to 4, this guided play experience allows  little adventurers to spark their inner imaginations in a safe and engaging environment. $25 for child and guardian. Offered on Thursday and Friday mornings from 10am to 2pm.
• After Dark Experience — Adults 21+ can enjoy 90 minutes of enhanced entertainment while exploring the magical realm with complimentary elixirs (cocktails and virgin cocktails).$60 per person. Offered on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7pm to 10pm.

Visits are timed with reservations. 

Department of Wonder is open every day of the week except on Tuesday. Hours may vary by day. Order tickets or learn more.

Admission

Tickets start at $39; $29 for ages 4 to 13 and 65+; free for ages 3 and under. Admission is space-limited, so advance booking for ticket times is strongly recommended. Order tickets or learn more.
