El Grito at Miller with Son Rompe Pera at Miller Outdoor Theatre

Miller Outdoor Theatre celebrates Mexican Independence Day with its annual Grito ceremony, followed by a performance by the five siblings of Son Rompe Pera, drawing from Mexico's colorful heritage and culture.

Hailing from Mexico City, Son Rompe Pera is at the forefront of the contemporary international cumbia scene, as they take what they learned in their youth to new heights, and push the marimba to its limits.
