Galveston's First Death Cafe at Fisherman's Wharf

Since starting in London in 2011, there have been more than 15,650 Death Cafe meetings in 83 countries. 

 

Groups of people, usually strangers, meet to discuss death, dying, and connected subjects with the objective "To increase awareness of death with a view of helping people make the most of their 'finite' lives."

 

Safe and nurturing, respectful to all regardless of gender-age-sexual orientation-religious/faith and ethnicity. Free from ideology and always confidential. Appetizers, refreshments, and interesting conversation guaranteed.
