Private Spaces Exhibition at The Cloister

Treebeards Restaurant, located inside The Cloister at Christ Church Cathedral in Downtown, hosts Private Spaces, an exhibition of works by Larry Garmezy.

The local Houston photographer is known for his unique and playful works, which will be on display during weekday lunches at Treebeards, a Houston institution since 1978, at The Cloister. 

From his favorite haunts in the Northern Rockies to his backyard in Houston and points in between, Garmezy’s images are typically impressions or abstractions of landscapes distorted by physical processes that create surprising and fleeting patterns.

Garmezy will be on hand during lunch to discuss his work on many Tuesdays and Fridays during the exhibition.

Visitors are encouraged to enjoy lunch at Treebeards during their visit.
