Spaces Opening Reception at Archway Gallery

Archway Gallery in Montrose presents an opening reception for Spaces, an exhibition featuring works in paint, fiber and clay from artists Silvia PintoSouza and Laura Viada.

In the exhibition, the work from these two artists create a visual dialog about creating space for beauty in a turbulent, violent and painful world. Both artists work through the geometric form and its underlying grid as a means of expression.

Poet Jon Halliburton will also be in attendance for the opening reception, enhancing the artistic dialog with observations in haiku.

The artists will be present at opening, with an artists talk at 6:30pm. There will be complementary light bites, wine, and  valet parking. Donations are welcome.

Spaces will be on view from Saturday, October 7 through Thursday, November 2, 2023.

Free. Learn more. If you visit Archway Gallery’s website before the exhibition opens, be sure to click on “Exhibitions” in the top menu bar, then on “Upcoming Exhibitions”, to find details on this exhibit.
