Waking Up Free: India’s Journey at Miller Outdoor Theatre

Miller Outdoor Theatre continues its 100th season with Waking Up Free: India’s Journey, produced by Silambam Houston.

The show is an exquisite dance production tracing India's journey to indpendence in honor of the 75th anniversary of the country's independence.

Conceptualized and directed by Lavanya Rajagopalan, the production features choreography by award-winning dancer/choreographer Priya Murle (from Chennai India). The original music score is composed and directed by Nandini Anand, and performed by senior dancers from the Silambam Houston Dance Company and Shri Silambam Academy (Chennai).

Admission

All shows at Miller ar free. Free reserved tIckets for the covered seating area can be reserved online, with a limit of 4 tickets per person. Learn more about reserving free tickets in the seated area.
